Program Requirements
The Certificate Program in Historic Preservation consists of five three-credit courses. Two of these, taken in any sequence, are required core courses: Seminar in Cultural Heritage Preservation and History and Theories of Architectural Preservation. Elective courses can be selected from any of those listed on the Courses page that are not "Core Courses." Prerequisites to the individual courses must be met by those enrolled in the certificate program. The fifth of five required courses is a supervised internship approved in advance in writing by the Department of Art History. More than the required five courses can be taken. View Courses |
